Peltor HRX52A-01347-BD-GV Worktunes NRR 22 dB Racetunes
Great for ear protection at noisy speedways and events, the Peltor Racetunes AM/FM radio hearing protector reduces noise to a safe 22 dBA. A patented, stainless steel headband and liquid gel ear cushions ensure optimal comfort for the entire day at the track. Because the radio tunes in to race broadcasts or music programs, you'll always be in the mix. The Racetunes also comes equipped with an audio jack and scanner patch cord for quick connections. This model requires two AA batteries (not included) for more than 180 hours of battery life.
Customer Review: Nice !
I purchased these for use at the dragstrip. They broadcast announcements etc over a short range fm station so everyone can hear. These work pretty well. My only dislike would be that it is a little difficult to locate a specific station on the dial since there are no markings and they are over your ears so you couldnt see the markings even if they were there. Iwould by them again.
Customer Review: Danger! These can damage your ears!
The built in radio is capable of creating 96 db of sound pressure at your ears if you are listening to a loud rock station. Anything above about 85 db for any extended time can cause damage. You may think you're protecting your hearing with these while operating loud machinery, but if you turn up the radio loud enough to hear it, you could be in danger.

Customer Review: Peltor ear muffs work well
We use the 101s in 85-100 db environments and our employees report they are comfortable and have great attenuation. They also last longer than comparable muffs.

Customer Review: No More Knee Jerking
I love my headphones. Great purchase. I was still knee jerking some when I realized if I shortened the headband all problems are now solved. When a product delivers as advertised, you don't mind paying the price.
Customer Review: Peltor Tac 7 Hearing Protection
This is my second set of this product. Works great and I'll buy a 3rd set when these go dead.

Customer Review: Got these for my father's 60th Bday
These are perfect for my father who needs to protect his hearing, but still needs to be able to hear his brothers talking when they go shooting. It's quite amazing the sounds that it picks up, in fact you can probably hear animals rustling around in the woods if you are a hunter. This review is based on the initial experience and does not reflect a long-term ownership review, but so far so good!
Customer Review: Excellent electronic hearing protection at a great price
Bought the Peltor Tactical Pros to replace a Peltor Tactical 6S electronic muff which I gave to my brother. My primary use for this product is for hearing protection at the gun range. From the moment I first tried on the tactical pros, all I can say is "WOW". The earcups are bigger than those on my tactical 6s. With that being said, everything else is significantly better. The tactical pro is very comfortable. The gel cups provide a good comfortable seal. I can wear these muffs for hours without the slightest discomfort. Once or twice I have actually left the range and had forgotten to take them off. The muffs are incredibly easy to use. Just hold down the middle button, wait for the beep, and voila... you can hear everything. Repeat the procedure to turn them off, and if you happen to forget they will turn off automatically. A convenience I did not have with my tactical 6s. You don't want to know how many times I've replaced the batteries on those things. The batteries are very easy to change and can be done without having to take off the hearing protection... a real convienience. There is also a port to connect a music device or to use for communications. I havn't used this feature, so I can't really comment on it. The higher NRR rating is what I really like best about these muffs. Protecting your hearing is always a worthwhile investment. While not as highly rated as some of the ProEars (with a maximum NRR rating of 33), the tactical pro doesn't cost nearly as much either. I've contemplated purchasing a set of ProEars in the past, but just couldn't justify their high cost. Peltor is world renowned for their hearing protection products and is used by just about every police and military unit around the globe. For its balance of price, quality, and features; I haven't found anything better than the Peltor Tactical Pro. I have been very satisfied with this product.
